About Dr. Butler
Dr. Butler is a highly respected periodontist with a broad background. He is one of a select group in Seattle who is boarded as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He has lectured locally and nationally and is published in national journals such as the Journal of the American Dental Association. Currently he contributes to the University of Washington by teaching part-time. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and from the University of Florida (Residency and Certificate in Periodontology). He is also actively involved in several dental societies; such as the American Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, The Western Society of Periodontology, the Washington State Society of Periodontists (1997-98 President) and the Pankey Dental Institute.
